Our Story
Why Choose Us
Brett Ryan Counseling was founded with the mission to empower individuals and couples to achieve mental and emotional well-being through client-centered therapy and evidence-based practices. From the start, we have focused on creating a compassionate, safe space where every client feels heard, respected, and valued. Our story is about community and connection—walking alongside you through life’s challenges with empathy, respect, and professional expertise.
Our core values of integrity, empathy, and individualized care guide our approach to therapy. We are committed to helping you overcome challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationships, using proven therapeutic methods like EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). By tailoring our services to your unique needs, we ensure that you receive the most effective care possible.
We believe in fostering a genuine connection with each of our clients. We go beyond the traditional therapy model, offering a supportive community where your emotional well-being is our top priority.
Our goal is to walk alongside you through life’s struggles, helping you build resilience and achieve lasting emotional health. With a focus on individualized care, we are committed to guiding you through every step of your healing journey, offering the support and tools necessary to navigate both immediate difficulties and future challenges.

As an empathetic and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring a unique blend of compassion, faith-based understanding, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques to my practice. My background in adolescent therapy, family dynamics, and crisis intervention, honed through extensive experience in Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Programs, allows me to offer comprehensive care for a wide range of mental health challenges. I enjoy helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and family conflicts, always with a keen focus on integrating spiritual growth and faith when desired.

My approach is deeply influenced by my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, allowing me to tailor my methods to each client's unique needs.
